Like auto vacuum and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my office clean. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It has other great highlights, such as an automatic emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize the settings for each room of your home.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to reduce time. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It offers a broad range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own and an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't take care of the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small areas. It's fast and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it's possible to take photos of every object it finds (i.e., chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
